Richard
Weisz became Hungary’s
first Olympic wrestling champion when he won a gold medal
in the
Greco-Roman
Heavyweight class at the 1908 Olympics
in London.
Possessor of a 20-inch neck and a 50-inch chest, Weisz
was Hungarian
Heavyweight Wrestling Champion from
1903 to 1909. The legendary “strong
sportsman” was also his country’s first
national weightlifting champion. |
